I just sprained my ankle, and it hurts. So I have an ice-pack on it (it's really weird to see it all swelled up) and I have nothing to do but type and limp around the house. I chose the first, naturally.
I have thought up another story idea. This girl (I think her name's Angela. I've always liked that name) is an orphan, and she's living temporarily with her cousins. Then she gets word that she's going to be moved to her uncle, the proud owner of a huge mansion, millions of books, and fifty acres of forests, fields, and creeks. That would have been Angela's dream uncle except it's a popular family rumor that he doesn't like children...at all. So Angela goes, unwillingly, and discovers that her uncle is actually a friendly book writer. And that enables him to help her with the book she's writing. In the meanwhile, someone is trying to break in to the mansion to steal something, but Angela can't figure out who...or what.
Just like Angela, I don't know where this idea's going, so I'll just have to be surprised.
