Got some great pictures of Luthien while we were watching 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' together. Unlike me, she has dark blue eyes and blond hair. Really gorgeous.
I really enjoyed watching the movie with Luthien, especially because we rarely get a lot of 'sister time' together. Understandable--there's an eight year age difference between us, and we are about as different as sisters get. Kind of like Blanche and Rose from 'Shadow of the Bear'. It was really great, and there were times when we were both laughing hysterically and rolling around on the couch. I almost fell off once ;)
Anyway, I was talking about 'sister time'. I like to say to myself that I'm not like the 'typical American girl' because I'm close to ALL of my siblings. BIG FAT LIE!! I'm not. A few months ago, I realized that Luthien and mine relationship was most definitely not at it's strongest point.
I could simply wave it off--after all, we're completely different!
But then I realized that having weak relationships in the family is an open invitation for Satan. And it is! Siblings are supposed to grow together, talk together, share things, and build each other up. Not fight, bicker, tattle-tale, etc.
Right now, we aren't as close as we should be. But we're trying to work on it.
Thank you all, if you read all the way to the end, for listening to my pointless rambling. :)
Izori
P.S. My wrists are doing better at the moment! That could have something to do with the what-ever-you-call-it..ibuprofen that I took a short while ago.

Happy Birthday, Luthien!
Lightning quick, here (seems like all of my posts lately have been lightning quick!), but HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY LUTHIEN! You may majorly annoy me at time, and you do snore (and I have to share a room with ya') but I love you anyways.
Now you get to hear me sing!
Happy birthday to you,
happy birthday to you,
happy birthday dear Luthien,
Happy Birthday to you!
Izori

Quotes from us
"Eureka! I have found out how to make a corner kick! You kick it from the corner!"--Erestor
"Weeeee-bah!"--Galdor
"Would you like to buy these stickers? They're on sale for eighty dollars and three cents!"--Luthien
"From now on, I will take life by the 'Gimli-approach."--Izori (in reference to the way Gimli raises his axe over the ring in the council at Rivendell and roars, "What are we waiting for?")

We have a pet! Or rather...Luthien does
We went to our 4-H recognition banquet (wow, we're getting pretty good here--banquets in our honor :) just now. Grandma and Grandpa stayed with Erestor, Luthien, and me while Mom and Galdor and Dad stayed home. Erestor and I are both greatly involved in 4-H--we both got 1st place on portfolios and were outstanding members for two clubs!!
About the pet thing...
There was a sort of contest, where everyone who was sitting on a chair that had a 4-H clover sign on the bottom would get the fish (with a fish bowl, of course) on the table. Well, little-sister Luthien was the one for our table! She named her fish, which is a neon tetra, Ana (the shrimp-thingy that goes with it is named Vestus).
We are no longer a no-pet family!
(Boy, Mom and Dad were thrilled when we all burst into the house, shouting that we had a pet!)

Did you know my little sis is an author? Neither did I.
Just for fun, I asked Luthien some author-ish stuff. Here are her answers.
Her writing name: Kaia-mii
Genre: Science Fiction
Book that she's working on now: 'Chin-chin and Me"
Main characters: Tristan
---------------------------------------------------
LOL! The rest of what she said was sort of indecipherable. Even though she's 4, sometimes it's hard to understand her.
