*pant, pant* I just got up from the basement, where I was watching Galdor. Seriously, people, this kid knows how to make people WORK!!
He makes me take him down to the basement whenever I'm watching him for mom, and then he makes me turn on Tchaikovsky ('The Nutcracker', to be precise) and then he makes me dance to it. I actually still have a lot of tricks left in my old noggin from when I took ballet, and I also improvise my own...unique...moves and choreography. It leaves me panting! But he loves it!
I actually really love enjoy exercise. I guess you could call me a health nut!
After sitting at the computer, staring at the screen, a little bit of running around really livens up the brain, and I tend to write my best scenes after I've danced or ran around a wee bit. Even just being outside for a while works!
I also have a bonus--I can lift weights. I know, I know, I'm only 13, but I've stopped growing *smirks*. That's the good side of not growing any more. Maybe the only one. Now all of my friends are catching up! One friend, who I've been taller than for YEARS, is now TALLER THAN ME!!!!!!! It frustrates me to no end!
Anyway, enough ranting and raving about that. I suppose I shall just get really high heels sometime soon.
Another good thing about exercise is that it makes you feel less guilty around Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years. All those goodies, not to mention two December birthdays in our family, makes me feel sometimes that I have had an overload of sugar.
