Picture and Random Things

Began my day with a huge bloody nose and a run. Instead of my usual run 2 minutes, walk 4, I ran 3 and walked 3 completely on a whim. I was astonished at how well I did. "I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me..." Of course, on the second cycle I felt like I was going to throw up, and it was getting kind of hot out (I run early in the morning). It was great! I felt like a true runner. I also did my Bible Study time in my head, which was the first half chapter of John. I memorized it. =)

That is one of my pictures. It has an autumn-y feel to it. =) I'm sorry it's so small...I'm not a techie kind of person, and I've already been on the computer too long. Blogger/computer has been kind of weird lately...=(

So far, my cold has gotten a lot better. Now I'm starting to feel my run, as well as notice pinprick bruises on my shoulder from shotgun shooting. I guess I wasn't holding the gun right. You have to hold it really tight so you won't get bruised. And, as usual, I hit no clays. I guess I'm more of an archer/.22 shooter then a skeet shooter. =( A pity because I LOVE shooting skeet.

By the way, Awel Prince is working on my blog design. I love it! It looks so gorgeous. She's doing an awesome job. =)

Hugs & Blessings,

Saturdays

Well...I was going to go exercise in the basement, but I just took out my knee on a table. Man, that hurt. So, I guess I won't.

Erestor had a shut-out baseball game, 21-3. His team won. =)

I had a great soccer game on Wednesday. I played against some people from my shooting/archery club, which was interesting. My team won, 3-0.

Sigh...we're going to do a 5-K race in November called the Turkey Trot. The first two times I did it, I was 11 and 12 years old, and I was a natural runner. It's really unfair how little kids can basically sprint three miles without any training. Now I'm a good sprinter, but I can hardly jog over a mile. If I had a choice, I wouldn't do any running, but since I have to do the 5-k, I might as well train. -_-

Tree swing

Enjoying summer!

Hey, even authors need exercise, too!

*pant, pant* I just got up from the basement, where I was watching Galdor. Seriously, people, this kid knows how to make people WORK!!

He makes me take him down to the basement whenever I'm watching him for mom, and then he makes me turn on Tchaikovsky ('The Nutcracker', to be precise) and then he makes me dance to it. I actually still have a lot of tricks left in my old noggin from when I took ballet, and I also improvise my own...unique...moves and choreography. It leaves me panting! But he loves it!

I actually really love enjoy exercise. I guess you could call me a health nut!

After sitting at the computer, staring at the screen, a little bit of running around really livens up the brain, and I tend to write my best scenes after I've danced or ran around a wee bit. Even just being outside for a while works!

I also have a bonus--I can lift weights. I know, I know, I'm only 13, but I've stopped growing *smirks*. That's the good side of not growing any more. Maybe the only one. Now all of my friends are catching up! One friend, who I've been taller than for YEARS, is now TALLER THAN ME!!!!!!! It frustrates me to no end!

Anyway, enough ranting and raving about that. I suppose I shall just get really high heels sometime soon.

Another good thing about exercise is that it makes you feel less guilty around Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years. All those goodies, not to mention two December birthdays in our family, makes me feel sometimes that I have had an overload of sugar.
