Today we went to church. We we're on nursery duty with another family, and it was REALLY FUN!! One of the babies has the same name as Erestor, and he would only want to be held by him. Likewise, another baby had the name I would have had if I was a boy, and he really liked me. What a coincidence!
Then a family invited us to go to their house for lunch after church. We had AN ABSOLUTE BLAST!!!! I made a cake with their oldest girl, who's a year or two younger than me. And then we talked. And talked. And talked. And talked. And did I mention that we talked? Lol.
I'm wearing one of those bracelets that has the magnetic ends. Y'know, where instead of clipping it together, they just stick? They're very handy. And now it's sticking to the metal part of the keyboard. Which was kind of annoying until I took it off.
I edited like crazy yesterday! Therefore, my hands hurt. They were nearly healed, but hey, it was the book or my wrists. And y'all know what I chose. =D

Writer's Daybook
WRITER'S DAYBOOK
Entry 7
What time is it...10:59 AM
I'm feeling...tired and inspired.
Outside is...SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today I...went to bed at 12:30 AM and was woken up at six by Erestor asking me to please turn on the computer because he didn't know how. Because Luthien and I share a room, he also managed to wake her up. And, for all of you who know Erestor, silence is NOT his virtue. He woke up everyone except for Galdor. Then, because I couldn't get back to sleep, I eventually went downstairs and played RuneScape with him.
I am hearing...clicking keys, mom talking.
I am hoping...that I can finish my final editing on my NaNoWriMo book.
I'm looking forward to...writing!
I am glad that...my wrists have pretty much healed! And also, we got to watch the cast commentary of 'Return of the King' last night. It's hilarious!! And Billy Boyd's (sp?) accent has rubbed off on me.
What I'm currently working on writing-wise...my NaNoWriMo book.
What I just finished reading...'Rising Storm' by Erin Hunter.
What I'm hoping to read...my completed NaNoWriMo book.
Writing buddy who I talked to last...still igirl.
Writing tip of the week...When editing, it's helpful to read your story aloud to yourself.
Number of words I wrote this week...maybe about three thousand?
What time is it...11:05 AM

Yeah, I know, this is my second post in a day.
But I'm bored.
Therefore, I shall number my thoughts.
#1. I just found out that we're going to be doing a homeschooling Science Fair along with Presentation Day. Because of that, I seriously don't think I'll be doing a presentation for Presentation Day that will involve a lot of work...like the 'Dragons Exist' thing. I'll probably demonstrate how to...uh, make a salad? I don't know. Ideas are welcome!
#2. I just started the sequel to my NaNoWriMo book. I have a feeling that it will be very neglected during these busy months.
#3. In February (coming fast--my goodness!) my family's going to have a 'Healthy Month'. So we're going to eat healthy, and I'm going to try to exercise once every day.
#4. Enawe is still here.
#5. I really should write something in present tense. It's very fun!
#6. I got the new Bionicle book out of the library. It's very good for a book written about action figures. Y'know how those can get. Once I was reading the book adaption of some movie, and it was horrible! I could write better than the author when I was EIGHT YEARS OLD!
#7. I can hear Luthien and Enawe yelling about popcorn in the family room. Interesting...
#8. Lol. Enawe just came into the room and told me that we were going to have popcorn because it tasted good.
Enawe: We eat it like this, Enwee! *makes motions of politely eating popcorn*
Me (Enwee): Really? Well, I eat it like this! *makes motions of shoving popcorn in my mouth like there's no tomorrow*
Enawe thought it was hilarious.
#9. Remember that book that I used to write on here? I think y'all have figured out that I stopped writing it. I'm just too busy. However, I would LOVE to write a second draft of it when I have the time.
#10. I think I've finally figured out what I'd like the major in: music. That may change. If I'm accepted into the high school soccer team that I'm going to try out for this spring, I may spend all of my collage time in sports and just major in communications.
#11. I've figured out that I absolutely LOVE Celtic/Gaelic sounding names. Colleen, Mairead, Meav, Aryn, Ian, Sean, Orlaugh (I think that's how you spell it), Fiona...
#12. I can remember the lowly days when I was excited because I had ten followers. Now I have 44! I should celebrate sometime.
#13. Y'know, this blog is lacking spice. Maybe I should have a caption contest? It's still 'bout a month away from this blog's 1st anniversary.
I should get off now.

Today and tomorrow, we're babysitting for a friend. The babysit-ee is a wee lassie named...um...I'll call her Enawe. She's around 3 yrs. old, I think, and she is SO CUTE!! Her voice actually sounds like Smeagol's. Don't worry, only a tiny bit, and she's ADORABLE!!!! Much prettier than Gollum, too.
Anyhow, I'm supposed to be doing my Spanish. So I should probably end this post.
Oh, and do you like the name Enawe? It's based off of mine, actually. Galdor calls me Nwee, and I just made it slightly more dignified sounding. I really like it.

EDIT: Nearly forgot! Bekah: yes, this is my main blog. :)

*sigh* Public Speaking. And dragons really existed.
My family does 4-H. And this year--guess what. We get to do Presentation Day. Where you go and talk, in front of judges, about something-or-other.
Yeah. Not my thing.
Until you add my topic, of course.
I think my topic will be 'Are Dragons Real?' And I will try to convince people that they actually WERE real.
BECAUSE THEY ARE!!! Or were. Whatever.
First of all, the word 'dinosaur' wasn't thought up until around the 19th century by an English dude. Not really a dude, I think his title was Sir. The word 'dragon' may very well have been the ancient/medieval word for dinosaur.

Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. His bones are tubes of bronze his limbs like rods of iron.
Job 40:15-18
His back has rows of shields tightly sealed together;
Job 41:15
His snorting throws out flashes of light; his eyes are like the rays of dawn. Firebrands stream from his mouth; sparks of fire shoot out. Smoke pours from his nostrils as from a boiling pot over a fire of reeds. His breath sets coals ablaze, and flames dart from his mouth.
Job 41:17-21

Well...a creature with a tail like a cedar and limbs like iron. Sounds a wee bit like the diplodocus or apatosaurus, no?
And notice Job 41:17-21! This creature breathes fire!
The stories and references about dragons--Beowulf, St. George and the Dragon, the dragon emblem of China, the murals of the Native American Indians--are too wide spread to be made up.
Therefore, I believe that dragons--or dinosaurs--really did exist.
Sorry if I had a bunch of holes in my argument, it's time I should be in bed.
Either the dragon topic, or I'll do one on trolls.
Goodnight!

Planning!
Guess, what! It's getting kinda close to the first anniversary of this blog!
These are all of my ideas for the celebration. Tell me what you think! (I'm not going to put up a poll)
1. Have a Caption Contest
2. Post 50 things about me that you may or may not know
3. Post a chapter or two of the first book that I wrote on here
4. Reveal my face for the first time! Well, maybe not the first, but ever since this blog became popular.
5. Make a quiz to see how much you guys know about me
6. Write a story involving a rather crazy sea captain, a dignified dragon, and a modern girl who are trying to rescue a prince who is put under a spell that makes him think he's a kangaroo. And post the first draft on my blog.
7. All of the above! (it'll be spread out over the space of one week if this is picked)
Tell me what you guys think!
